Puma Energy is a key player in Guatemala. We are market leaders in the provision of aviation fuels and oils and also operate a growing retail network of 230 retail sites. We have four terminals in Guatemala located on both the Pacific and Atlantic seaboards.
Our offering is focused on quality, flexibility and speed of reaction and we run a thriving wholesale business, selling fuels ex-rack to three main distributors. Our B2B business now supplies more than 230 customers, including key players in sugar refining and the extractive industries. We sell a range of bitumen products to many different clients, having developed strong relationships with refineries and suppliers to support our offer. We import into markets through bulk terminals and distribute through heated bitutainers and our own truck fleet.
In Guatemala we are pioneers in our market by introducing ULSD (with no more than 50 ppm) under our brand ION Puma Diesel, available in 14 strategically located service stations. We also manage differentiated fuels formulated with additives that enhance performance, under our Maxxima brand.
Our terminal located in Puerto San Jose was accredited with the ISO 14001 in 2014, which puts Puma Energy Guatemala as the only petrol company in the category to have this accreditation in the country. The ISO 14001 standard is the most important standard within the ISO 14000 series and specifies the requirements of an environmental management system (EMS) to help organisations reduce their environmental impact.
