Eghosa Oriaikhi Mabhena to join Puma Energy as Head of Africa

Singapore, 26 March 2019 - Puma Energy, the leading global energy business, today announces that Eghosa Oriaikhi Mabhena will be joining Puma Energy on 1st July 2019 as Head of Africa reporting to CEO Emma FitzGerald.
Eghosa joins from Baker Hughes where she has been Executive Director for their sub-Saharan Africa oilfield services business. Eghosa will join the Puma Energy Executive Committee and will be responsible for Puma Energy operations across Africa.

Eghosa Oriaikhi Mabhena has previously led businesses for Baker Hughes across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe, Russia Caspian and Africa. Eghosa was previously with Schlumberger for over 9 years working across Europe and North America.
Eghosa has a Masters and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from University College London and an MBA from IESE in Spain. Eghosa has spent 17 years in the energy industry and is the founder of AWEinEnergy which is focused on getting more women into CEO and C-suite positions in the industry.
Eghosa is passionate about mentoring young leaders and females in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and is also on the board of The Boardroom Africa which is focused on getting women board seats.
